Terms of Use
These Terms of Use govern your access to the Tawasaw Portal (the “Portal”), operated by Tawasaw. By accessing or using the Portal, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Portal.
1. Access
The Portal is for people Tawasaw has approved — mentors, volunteers, and staff. Access is granted at Tawasaw's discretion and may be changed, suspended, or withdrawn at any time, with or without notice or reason.
Sign in with the account Tawasaw has on record for you. Do not share your account, your credentials, or any access password.
2. Your information
You agree that the information you provide is accurate and yours, and that you will keep it current. Tawasaw may rely on it, and may decline or revoke access if it is inaccurate.
3. Confidentiality
The Portal contains personal information about other people, including children. You agree to treat everything you access as confidential, to use it only to carry out your role for Tawasaw, and not to copy, export, photograph, publish, or share it outside that role. Tell Tawasaw promptly if you believe information has been exposed or shared in error.
These obligations continue after your access ends.
4. Acceptable use
Use the Portal only as intended and as permitted by law. Do not attempt to access anything you have not been given access to, interfere with the service, or extract data from it by automated means.
5. No warranty
The Portal is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Tawasaw does not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or accurate, and may add, change, suspend, or discontinue any part of it at any time. Information in the Portal does not replace instructions given to you directly by Tawasaw.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tawasaw and the people acting on its behalf are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of or relating to your use of the Portal.
7. Changes to these Terms
Tawasaw may update these Terms of Use and the Privacy Notice at any time, at its sole discretion. The version published in the Portal is the version that applies. Where a change is significant, the effective date above will be updated, and Tawasaw may ask you to accept the current version before continuing to use the Portal. Continuing to use the Portal after a change takes effect means you accept it.
